What is a BioBlitz?
- A 24-hr rapid inventory of biological diversity.
- Scientists, naturalists and volunteers will comb Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge for two days documenting every species they can find.
- Saturday June 11th from 10:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m. the public is invited to the refuge to celebrate biodiversity and become citizen scientists. The Festival is in the backyard of the refuge Visitor Center.
